July 17th 2010 - 8th ANNUAL SPORTSMANS RAFFLE, Hosted at the South Mountain Fairgrounds, Hosted at the South Mountain Fairgrounds. You must be 21 yeas of age to purchase tickets and attend the feed.
Tickets are $100.00 each. There are only 1,000 tickets to be sold!
Prizes total $46,000 consisting of: Ten - gun winners, Twenty Four - $500.00 winners
Two - $5,000.00 winners, and a grand prize of $20,000.00.
Your ticket includes admission to the feed held at the South Mountain Fairgrounds. Doors open at 11am, the first prize is awarded at 1pm, grand prize is awarded at 7pm. Prizes are awarded every ten minutes throughout the raffle. The meal includes steak, barbeque chicken, french fries, corn on the cob, and various snacks. Beverages are also provided.
There are several ways to purchase tickets.
- Call the fire station, (717) 677-6200. Leave a message if no one answers, a memeber will call you back.
- Email the president. Be sure to include your contact information.
- Using a credit card or Pay-Pal, click the donate button on our website’s main page. Make a $100.00 donation, be sure to include your mailing information, and we will send out your ticket.

ACVFC Takes Delivery of New Enclosed Trailer - In December 2009 the Arendtsville Community Volunteer Fire Company INC took delivery of a brand new 16’ long enclosed trailer. The trailer was made possible by the generous donation of George and Bonnie Roth. The trailer will be used to transport Utility 5-1, the fire company’s off road rescue vehicle; as well as its tools, equipment, and fuel. With the addition of a generator, the trailer can also serve as a mobile command or rehab unit. The board and members of the ACVFC would like to extend a sincere thanks to the Roth’s for providing this asset.
